This piano has had long life of musicality and performance. It has recently been through several stages of rebuilding including new strings, hammers, action parts, dampers and felts along with high level voicing regulation by local piano technician David Renaud.
It has a deep soul with a unique vibrance. Everyone to play it in the shop so far has fallen in love with it. Pianos made during this time by Mason and Hamlin were constructed to the highest standards and used all the very best parts available. At nearly a century old it still dwarfs pianos of today of a similar size.
The American made Mason and Hamlin A is a professional grade instrument. It has a full, warm sound which feels larger than the 5'8 size suggests. This piano is very musical, a delight to play. The satin ebony finish shows some cosmetic wear, which we like to call the vintage look. The piano is structurally sound and with regular care has many strong years of musical life ahead of it.
This piano is perfect for any home ranging from complete beginner looking for room to grow to an advanced musician. It is be suitable for a small venue or music studio.

Local concert pianist John Dapaah came by to try it out a short while back. We captured some video of the visit. Have a listen for an idea of the richness and depth this piano holds. It of course must be played in person to be appreciated fully.
